 Pretty shoes, run a little weird Mar 17, 2010
I am a true size 7 and I had bought a very similar style from Doc Martens (in a size 7) a while ago and they fit way too big. This time around, I bought a size 6 which fit kind of tight. The first time I wore them they cut the back of my heels pretty badly. They were also a bit stiff. Since then, I've tried wearing them on short outings so that they don't hurt me too bad. They have stretched out as I thought they would and now they fit much better. I really wish Doc Martens came in half sizes because then the shoes would have fit great from the start without leaving my heels in pain. Still, the shoes were cute and stylish enough for me to suffer through the pain and continue to wear them.

Got these as a gift for my adult daughter. At first they were a tad tight at top of the toe section, but they are confortable now. She likes the style and the leather should be more durable than the similar cloth styles she has worn in the past.

These shoes, (I got them in Leopard) are the coolest shoes I've purchased in a long time. I had no idea Doc started making flats. I have been wearing Dr. Martens since about 1985 but, obviously I never sought out this type of shoe. I have always loved the looks and comfort of Dr. Martens. Now I can wear Docs to work?! Dreams do come true. heheheh
I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone!
As far as I have researched, most Doc ballet flats (/or all flats?)run 1/2" ,too, small. These are no different. Without a sock they feel perfect. But, if you wear socks get your regular size. Or,you could always, get a size smaller, wear socks and wait. As I'm sure, as with most leather, they will stretch in time.

I didn't get the first pair, or so I thought. Fed-ex, as it turned out, never knocked on my door but just left my shoes in my apartment's office on Valentine's Day!!! I thought someone had stolen them since I was emailed the delivery was completed from Fed-Ex. I emailed them on Valentine's Day, to tell them how I did not get any Fed-Ex that day .Without hesitation 'My Fashion Corner' sent me out a second pair! Today I got the second pair so I'll send the ones I got today back to them. But, for a company to trust a customer in that way, in the year 2009 ?!....should be commended!
