Great!!!!! I prefer over UGGs! Dec 23, 2010
By Devin I have been wanting a pair of soft and warm boots that are comfortable to wear to school. I have been doing my homework and that brought me to these great boots! I refuse to pay for the UGG name simply because they are overpriced. About the boots...I was a little nervous to buy these online because so many reviews say they run big or they run small so I drove half an hour to a store that carried them. I am typically a size 8. The front of the boot was a little snug but felt great on my calves. I decided to go with a size 9 which is slightly loose. This is great for pants, leggings, and boot socks. I am 135 pounds and athletic. At the risk of sounding self absorbed I would like to mention that I have very muscular calves and they were still comfortable. They are very nice quality, wonderfully comfortable, match almost everything, and were a fairly decent price. I am still thinking about the sizing and hope they don't stretch. I think it is great that there is a sole that is not slippery and they can be waterproofed. I am more than happy with these boots. Good luck on your search for the perfect boot!

Love the Boots! Feb 20, 2011
By CollegeStudent015 I was a little skeptical about buying these boots at first. I have always bought Uggs, but when my recent pair became destroyed by the salt on my campus, I was left with no boots for the winter. I saw these on Amazon, and as a poor college student, spending $60 on a boots with a brand I never heard of seemed iffy. But I took the chance (after reading the other reviews) and was very happy with them! They are exactly as described on the website, and the sizing was accurate. I wear an 11 in boots, and ordered a size 11. The boots are warm and comfortable, and the traction on the bottom has prevented me from slipping numerous times. After wearing them for about a month, the boots have little wear and tear and have stood up to snow, rain, and ice. I was very happy with these boots, and would recommend them to anyone!

False advertising! BUYER BEWARE Dec 26, 2011
By aprilmay First of all The boot in this picture is not the "Tall 605w boot", it does not measure 11.5 inches from the arch, and the ankle size is extremely tight compared to products in retail stores. I ordered this boot expecting it to be 11.5 inches and the meadow 606w they originally had advertised about a month ago, it was not that boot it was this boot the 605w boot that is only 10 inches. Look on the bearpaw website http://shop.bearpawshoes.com/women/classic/meadow-10-inch-sheepskin-boots_0841003.html you will see for yourself the false advertisement for this boot. Beware the boot in the picture is not the boot you will get the boot is short not tall, if you want a tall bearpaw boot the meadow 606w is tall at 12 inches or so from the arch and the 2 inches does make huge a difference. I am giving this product one star not only because Amazon cannot get there act together and hassled me several times over the phone when I was trying to sort out the problem with this boot, but also because the horrible size and quality differences of the product. Some boots have great shearling on the inside whereas others have what looks to be frizzed out fake sheerling that is scratchey and not soft. Also I ended up going to the mall and getting these boots and the size difference from the size 7 I got from amazon and the size 7 in the store was huge! the size of the ankle in the store bought shoe was perfect, the one from amazon was very tight on my ankle and I have a very petite frame.
I do however love the boots I bought in the store even thought they were 70 dollars compared to amazons 40 which is why I ordered from amazon in the first place. They are warm and soft and every bit as good as overpriced UGGS. just be careful when ordering these online and check on the bearpaw website to confirm the specifications that Amazon has listed.

Bearpaw Boots Rock! Dec 03, 2011
By Kimberley A. Smith I originally found Bearpaw boots at a local discount store, I only bought them because they were comfortable and cheap! They were $15 and light blue (hence the price). After several years I did finally wear them out, but they were on my feet from October to April. I recently bought two new pairs to replace two older two pairs that I didn't water proof and ultimately ruined. However, I had them for three years. No holes, just didn't look good aesthetically. One pair I wore while clearing snow to make a skating rink, I was walking around on ice, in 2" of water, my feet were soaked but they were not cold! These are hands down the best boots I have ever owned and more than worth the money. Before buying more Bearpaws' I did buy a pair of Uggs, I figured I owed it to myself to "try" them. I have a friend who wears them snowmobiling, no socks and is never cold. My "expensive" snowmobiling boots that are rated for 40 below have to be worn with wool socks otherwise I can feel the cold coming in from the snow or ice I am standing on. Long story short, I bought the Ugss but didn't like the fit. They are very narrow and quite frankly were not worth the high price tag. So I returned them, went back to Bearpaw's, removed my socks, yes, was wearing them with socks, and will never change again! Meadow's are wider in both the footbed and shaft and have a heavier duty tread, Emma's are narrower and the tread isn't so aggressive but still more than adequate. My shoe size is a 6, and I buy both styles in a 6, they just have a slight different fit, but are both comfortable.
I am really surprised to hear about these wearing out and falling apart in a few months... there are a lot of knock-off's out there, maybe they weren't the real deal or maybe just defective, quality control is done by people, and people can miss things. Overall these are a high quality product and well worth the money.

NOT COMFY, warm in Winter Nov 29, 2011
By bomberblonde These are the most comfotable boots I've ever worn. The inside is so soft and padded it's like walking on a cloud. And because of the grippy rubber on the bottom they are solid when walking on snow-covered ice. I think they fit true to size, they are a little snug right now but I'm sure the padding will wear down over time and they will loosen up.
Overall, I highly recommend these boots and they are WAY BETTER THAN UGGS.
EDITED REVIEW: I wore this for the first time in a Canada snowstorm today, and though my feet have never been warmer, the seam at the back where the shoe connects to the boot shaft has dug in to my heels so bad they have both started bleeding. This means not only can I not return the boots, but I'm stuck with the most painful warm boots ever. It might only be this pair, but I wish I would have tried them on in a store first.
